  1. I got one of these basic cargo carriers from Lowe's for cheap, and found it works for hauling my Series 2. To make a rail/channel for the tires like the above examples, I cut a couple of 2x4s to length, and lag bolted them on edge from underneath. I have to deflate the tires about halfway because the hauler is just little bit too short for the Lammy wheelbase, this lets the scoot settle into the rail and really helps it stay put on bumpy New England roads. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Carry-On-Trailer-22-in-x-60-in-Hitch-Packer/3192793
  2. Is this the guy? http://www.metaldoctors.net/ Looks like nice work, but yeah, pricey.
  3. Carl, those are actually my pics. I used that bracket on this Series 2 Li125. More fun than a barrel of monkeys but had to sell it. Hope these pics are helpful, this is a Meyers Aircraft sidecar with the proper Lambretta chassis, it has the sidecar tire located in the correct position relative to the Lammy's rear tire. Cheers, Jay H.
  4. Holy crap, this is cool There's even a cutdown in an episode of Happy Days. http://www.imcdb.org/vehicle_156952-Lambretta-LI.html
  5. Story for the Gazette? You got it, sir.
  6. I'll be there, and will take plenty of pics.
  7. Stumbled across this fantastic video on YouTube just now, huge props to whomever made it, it's great! http://youtu.be/qtWJrXItkP8
  8. That would make a fantastic T-shirt slogan.
  9. Wait till you guys see Fred's all-original Lambro 200. It's a real gem, completely original and unmolested.
  10. Kieran - if she's running you definitely get some seat time in it!
  11. Matt's bare chassis would be VERY cool to see in person . . . hint hint . . .
  12. Wow, that Samba link is great, thanks for sharing. Love the "Ice Bus" results.
  13. Here's two great, huge threads on garagejournal.com just about workbenches: "Workbenches from scratch": http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50406 "Let's see your workbench": http://garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=464 Tons and tons of ideas here, literally hours of worthwhile reading elsewhere on that forum too.
  14. Gary, their HQ is in Framingham. Let's ride over and demand royalties or free shirts or something
  15. Thanks for the kind words Jimmmy. The paint is actually just tinted primer. I didn't do any bodywork, just scuffed the maroon, masked it off and sprayed. It looks better in pics than in person.
  16. Here's my FLi175 threewheeler. I got it 11 or 12 years ago, it was missing the engine and painted an ugly maroon but was otherwise complete. I picked up a rough Lambro 550 with a good engine, swapped it in, and painted it '59 Ford April Green to match my '59 Ford F100 scoot hauler. Haven't run it since 2006, but with Lammy Jammy 2014 scheduled for Boston, that's gonna change.
  17. Damn, can't find my LCUSA swag envelope with my membership card. But checking in anyway. Hi, y'all. Jay H.
