Fun with Excel.
These numbers are taken from Paolo's Racing Lambrettas website and Vittorio's new book. More of these charts for different models will come as time allows me to add the VIN numbers in.

The top number (Smaller) is the number of units made in that month... The bottom number in BOLD is the VIN range for that month.

With this chart you may be able to establish exactly what month your scooter was made.

.. after a couple grinding days at the DMV, was able to get my Jet registered and plated. What a PITA..  I could go on and on and on w/ the problems they were giving me.. but the best was the guy at inspection who was SURE that my VIN and Engine numbers COULD NOT MATCH!    Only after an hour of explaining it to him and a supervisor, did I get him to sign off on his portion of the red tape.. Sheeesh.. Anyway, it's done and I'm relieved.

If anyone wants to use this thread as a "Today I.. " (I borrowed the concept from a friend on another forum) please do..  anything you did scooter related that may not warrant it's own thread can go here..

*if the moderators don't like it, they can squash it.. or if no one wants to post that's cool too.. I just found it a good place for a quick update on what people are up to.

I spent $225 today at the DMV  - one car, a trailer, and the rest were lambretta! Seesh!

I spent $171.00 and it was just one Serveta.. The Best Quality Scooter must cost more to register! ;)  (does that count for my public declaration of Serveta superiority?)  ;)

Oh pipe down Chris... that wasn't my intention..  but we can see how easy it is to get it to go there..  I'm sticking to Lambretta / Serveta related today I's... but I can't be responsible for others.. I shouldn't have played along!

Snagged a 1958 Cavalier Coke machine for an absolute steal, 10 minutes from my house...this guy had no idea what he had apparently.  Crazy, been scanning the entire southeast for one of these for the last several months, and one pops up right down the road from me...
