What Allen Size Is The Kickstart Stop Allen Screw?

Recommended Posts

Trick I learned:

Take a 12mm head bolt and put 2 nuts on it and jam them together. Now you have a 12mm Allen key. Just use a wrench on the nut closest to the bolt head when removing and the nut furthest away when tightening.

That's funny. I made one of those using an old hub stud because I didn't have the right hex key handy. Now I have a 12mm 3/8" drive socket key that works great.

Simply brilliant. Many times have I needed to drive an allen head screw and cut off a piece of a key. But if I didn't have the right size ? Never thought of this. Or , maybe I did. Age-related selective remembrance.........Thanks !
