Indian summer

That's just the nature of those forks. Totally different from the normal S1-GP forks you normally see. Only used on late model Indian GP's and apparently are fantastic to ride.

I'm glad I went thru the effort to rebuild and detail these forks, you can't get any replacement bushings or original escort shocks. I ended up having a friend machine some new sleeves and bushings, as mine had a lot of slop. Also the original dampeners were really bad, I guess Bitubo made or makes direct replacements but they are around $300 and out o stock. Ended up with these of the bay for $20 for now. They are about the same build quality  as the escorts.

Ok we’re back on the road thanks to many club members, and Mike Anhalt for building the motor back up. A little late to the game so we had to come up with our own transportation to the Jamboree. We are driving up from Southern California in our 68 bus, camping along the way. We are really looking forward to meeting you all!

Good to know those can be rebuilt with out too much effort. I have a set also that I’ve been saving for my test frame.

Look forward to testing out the handling on yours ?
